Hội thảo về giáo dục STEM ở Campuchia (hạn đăng kí 31/12)
Hội thảo với sự tham gia của 50 thành viên đến từ các quốc gia ASEAN về giáo dục STEM sẽ diễn ra tại thủ đô Phnom Penh (Campuchia) từ ngày 28/2 đến ngày 3/3/2018. Hội thảo bắt đầu nhận đăng kí từ các thành viên từ hôm nay đến ngày 31/12/2017. Đây là cơ hội để các thầy cô giáo, các bạn sinh viên và những người quan tâm đến giáo dục có cơ hội giao lưu thảo luận về các vấn đề liên quan đến giáo dục STEM.
YSEALI STEM Education Regional Workshop in Cambodia Now Accepting Applications
Bringing together 50 YSEALI members from across ASEAN countries to promote STEM education among youth, the workshop will be conducted in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 28th February to 3rd March, 2018. 10 YSEALI members will be selected from Cambodia, and 40 other YSEALI members will be selected from the rest of ASEAN countries.
Participants in the workshop will have an opportunity to participate in informational sessions, discussions on STEM education and challenges, and break-out sessions on different topics and group presentations.
All program costs including flight/transportation, meals, and accommodation will be covered. Please note that only flights within the 10 ASEAN countries are eligible; additional costs are the responsibility of participants.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
Applicant must:
- be aged between 18-25;
- be citizen of an ASEAN member state (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam);
- be YSEALI member (To be a YSEALI member, please register at http://yseali.state.gov);
- be able to speak and read English;
- have a keen interest in STEM education and/or STEM-related pursuits, exhibit leader-ship potential, and illustrate an awareness for and interest in engaging in regional edu-cational activities;
- be available and able to participate in all program components on the dates specified;
- have a passport that is valid for at least for 6 months from the departure date.
Please note that priority will be given to those who have not attended a YSEALI regional workshop or fellowship.
